Step-by-step instructions

  1. Choose an inclusive date window

Set the earliest and latest eligible dates. The end must be on or after the start.

  2. Set the number of dates

Choose How many? from 1 to 100. Repeated dates are possible because every pick is independent.

  3. Generate and record the dates

Select Pick dates. Save the output with the range settings when the window is relevant to your activity.

Worked example

Five dates are selected from March 1 through March 31, 2027, including both endpoints.

One valid result is shown below. Your generated outcome will vary.

Example settings

Start date: 2027-03-01
End date: 2027-03-31
How many: 5

Example result

1. 2027-03-17
2. 2027-03-12
3. 2027-03-18
4. 2027-03-29
5. 2027-03-24

Every result is a valid day inside March. Repeated dates are possible because the selections are independent.

A date range is not an availability calendar

The generator does not know holidays, working days, or people’s schedules. If only certain dates are suitable, create an allowed-date list and choose from that instead. Save the range with your result so it is clear which dates were eligible. A selected date does not create an event or reserve time.

Settings and limits to check

The picker returns valid calendar dates in YYYY-MM-DD format. It includes both endpoints and does not exclude weekends, holidays, or previously selected dates. Repeats are allowed within a batch. It selects calendar days, not meeting availability or date-and-time appointments. A single-day window produces that day on every pick.

Keep a usable copy of the result

Use Copy to place the current result in your own notes, or Download to keep a text file. Keep the range, count, or other settings with the result when they are needed to interpret it. A new generation replaces the displayed result rather than adding to a saved history.

The tool runs in your browser and does not upload your input. Save the result before refreshing or leaving the page. If other people need to use the same outcome, share your saved copy rather than asking them to generate another independent result.

Frequently asked questions

Can I generate dates only on working days?

Not with this range tool. Use a prepared list of allowed working dates and a list picker.

Can the same date appear more than once?

Yes. There is no no-repeat setting in this tool. Each date is selected independently.

Can I exclude weekends or holidays?

No. Every date in the selected window is eligible. Prepare an allowed-date list and use a list picker when exclusions matter.

What should I check in the worked example?

Every result is a valid day inside March. Repeated dates are possible because the selections are independent.
